EVENTS |
WPSA offers a variety of different events to help educate and provide updates to agencies throughout Wisconsin, both members and non-members.
Conferences
- Held three times a year, roughly in Spring, Summer, and Fall
- Currently are being held virtually
- Once the PHE expires, conferences will be back IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY
- Unite, advocate, promote, and educate agencies on current and critical issues
- Available to members and non-members
DCC Trainings
- DCCI, DCCII, DCCIII
- DCCI & DCCII classes are held 6 times a year (March, July, & November, as well as three additional pop-up classes based on demand)
- Currently are being held virtually
- DCCI is a Train the Trainer program for activities of daily living
- DCCII is a Train the Trainer program for Registered Nurses for medically orientated tasks
- DCCIII is a Train the Trainer program that covers communication and management techniques for Alzheimers, Dementia, and Memory Care
- Available to members and non-members
Lunch n' Learns
- Held three times a year, roughly in Spring, Summer, and Fall
- 1-2 hour sessions over lunch roughly three times a year
- Informal discussions to share best practices amongst agencies
- Available to members and non-members
